I just feel like I've been on a tour of your Christmas!! Love that first picture of the ending of fall. Just exquisite..a little sad, but beautiful.
Doesn't that wood just make you feel warm and good.
Loved your post...full of sights and sounds and smells.

As usual, your photos and the comments to them are beautiful. You do have a way with the camera and the words.

Have a wonderful holiday, and thanks for adding to mine.

Gerry Rosser here. Twoblueday.wordpress.com.
Apparently Google/Blogger has changed the format of this comment page, and no longer allows me to post as "other." I guess they don't want anyone to blog anywhere else. My choices are to post using my defunct (but apparently non-destroyable) blogger self, or as "anonymous."
My blogger blog does refer people to my wordpress blog, but I hate to make people take two steps. What to do?
Would you prefer I commented as anonymous or the other way?

My comment on your blog today:

These are "a few of [your] favorite things"?

I think my favorite part of Christmas is not the day itself but the entire season that leads up to it.
Your pictures put me in the spirit.
