cozy yummy yarns

With Halloween behind me, all I can think about is Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year we are extra excited because last year we spent Christmas in the hospital with Mark struggling for his life. We have so much to be grateful for that I can't say "Thank You" enough. Winter is pushing it's way up from the ground and there is a new chill in the air.

When that happens, in this house we start shopping for yarn... cozy yummy yarns. I stood before this particular display and just stared at it, a feast for my eyes. Ewephoric Yarns is my absolute favorite shop to visit, their selection is fabulous and you can be guaranteed to find some of the most unusual exotic yarns from all over the world.

I have pulled out my
crochet needles and
my Knifty Knitter is
raring to go :)

It's the season to
go Ewephoric!

Coming from a country that's probably more known for its sheep rather than its people, I thought the word Ewephoric is great. It's going to be my word for the day!!

This Christmas will be very special indeed for your family.

As soon as I saw the photos for this posting I had to let my youngest daughter know about it. She is a knitter par excellance.

I just know she will go wild over the yarns.

Enjoy the season.

I too am in the mood to do some crocheting! I love to do cross-stitich but I got burned out on a HUGE piece I did for my best friend a long time ago. It's time though to get back into it! My oldest daughter turns 30 in January and I want to make something special just for her!

Hmmmm This is odd. I stumbled onto your blog and last year we spent Christmas in the hospital with my brother in law in a Coma. He is fine now and hopefully this will be a brighter holiday season. I need to find my old crochet needles. It is very relaxing. Great blog,

Greg

I love yarn shop and weaving shops and bead shops. And I love bamboo needles too. We are so blessed to have such abundance of all in this country! I also though the name of the shop is pretty darn cute. My fav here is Showers of Flowers. Love it.

I wish I knew how to knit! I think it would be so good for Riley to learn too. The calming effect and the fine motor.

You are so talented and creative!

Believe it or not, I, a guy, go shopping for yarn with my sweetie sometimes. She shows it in her stamp and scrapbooking store (shameless plug: Stamping Station in Mt. Dora, Florida). Her customers use yarn at times to decorate their paper projects.
