it's me talking

I could use some encouragement...

I learn by trial & error. I don't choose to learn this way, it's just a fact about myself. When God was passing out the Easy gene, He ran out right before I got there. By the time my brain has decided that something is going to be easy...it starts raining, they cancel the concert, the restaurant runs out of that item, the store has it in every size but mine and they close your bank account because it was inactive for too long and never tell you. Yes, that's what happened to me...I had an account at a local bank, all my own, no one used it but me...and they closed it. I guess someone decided that I fell off the face of the Earth? And I, of course, used all of this said bank information with etsy...paypal...la la la...before I knew all of this! :{ So, I dried the tears that fell during my arduous online clean up and the very looooong phone conversation I had with Paypals customer service guy, who thinks I'm now THE craziest person EVER...and have a new bank account that is currently waiting to be verified by the wonderful people at Paypal and...as soon as I can upload all the umpteen pictures I have taken of my jewelry, with oooooh so many left that still need to be taken, cropped, adjusted, blah!...I can open up the boutique that the Universe encouraged me to open...

that was The Universe...right?

Like the wise lovelies above said, it will happen. And we will all cheer from our cyber chairs!

And let me remind you: we love you and totally know you can do this. And we're a bunch of fallible goofballs. So if a bunch of dorks like US know you can do it, how much more is God rooting for you?!

Love you...

Oh no, that is just NOT right that your bank would do that without even trying to notify you or check with you. What horrible customer "service."

Sending good thoughts your way that you have everything straightened out very, very soon.

YES! That was the Universe and your heart who encouraged you to open your boutique. They can´t help it if banks decide to act stupid...

I´m with the others on taking one day at a time. And you know, you can always take a day off...it´s YOUR boutique! Maybe taking a step back will re-energize you again.

Sending love and tuns of hugs your way! xOx

I used to think banks were respectable institutions, but now I put them right up there with credit card companies and the IRS.

Everyone I've known who's either (a) started their own company or (b) built their own home, has come away saying they should write a book about all the things they learned by trial and error and save others some big headaches. You're just experiencing The Universe telling you no human can pull together 100 different strings at once and expect to work them neatly into one big, happy bow! But I feel your frustration and immense pressure and extreme fatigue. :)

As President and CEO I hope you grant yourself a few breaks to just relax and rejuvenate. "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" (Matt. 6:27) WWJD? I think he'd row his boat away from the crowd and out into the middle of the lake, and chill for a while! Take care.

Dearest Darlene

Oh sweetheart, that sucks ROCKS! How dismaying for you!

Never mind, as so many of the wiser lovelies have said, it's OK and we're all here for you. Can't wait for la grande opening. You are such a talented photographer as well as jewellry artist it's going to be hot, hot, HOT!

I love PayPal too. I use them for my online business, and they are very, very understanding.

Nearly there now.

With much love

Annie

Hello Darlene. I'm glad you didn't let a minor setback such as the bank writing you off discourage you from your dreams. If life was easy, then everyone would have a boutique. But you see, when the creativity was passed out, (you got an extra helping), it was done with the understanding that you would someday be in a place where you could show your beautiful talent to the world. Besides, we in the Universe have plenty of time and patience... and credit cards. :)

I am a trail and error girl too. It seems to take me a long time to learn a lesson. But I do think we are all here learning...
Learing to experience life.

Banks have become strangely independent creatures haven't they? Seems like banks never get it right the first time and when they final DO something goes wrong later on down the line. But YES, you did pay attention to the university, yes THE universe, and I wish you the best with your new store.

Yikes, I heard people crying all day! I think Venus or Mars or something is in retograde, or whatever. I'm sure it's a weather or some sort of cosmic thing. Lots of sad stories and I got to hear my share. And then our sweet Darlene is having problems. Well, it is never easy, but let me know how you like etsy if you would. Thanks and later,

Thank you all for your encouraging words and for repeating back to me that I can do this :)

I am still cleaning up the bank issues...these things take 3-4 business days and I am knee deep in photos and battling my type A perfectionist eye...

but I see the light at the end of the tunnel :)

what loves you are to me,

ha, the comment from the Universe made me laugh.

sigh. all the web stuff is exhausting, isn't it? It's true--you CAN do it, it's just a big pain in the neck and takes forever. (I'm encouraging you and projecting my own frustrations at the same time...)

I'm excited to buy something from you someday in the future though:)

Believe and breathe. It will happen, you will make it happen. You have the spirit and soul that can't be stopped. One day at a time is the best advice, and keep believing! XOXO
