rose glow

I want to be hidden
right inside of
your transparent petals
then bask in the warmth
of your healing glow
breathe in deeply
and wait
for nightfall's protection
and the slow
closing movement
of your arms

What a cool thought--to be wrapped up in the petals of a rose. Safe and soft and smelling pretty...

can i climb right in there with you? we could lie with our cheeks feeling the softness of the velvety petals and smile and chat and doze off when we're sleepy.
sending love and healing vibes :)

Darlene, Have I told you lately how much I love you! Could I tell you once again somehow? Those words just started singing in my mind as I read your post and poem. How utterly beautiful. I'm giving a copy to my sweetie so he can share too. He'll love it as he is a romantic kind of guy. Thanks, once again.
