Oh my friend I feel this deeply on both levels and also wish I was enveloped in your sweet embrace of physical friendship.
I sometimes feel like a lost child even though I miss my older kids as a mother misses her babes.
Its funny how things come full circle. I love seeing the pages with your hand writing on them its really comforting for some reason.

hmmm... Boy do I feel this way.
Beautiful and oh so true.
I think this is why I love working at the school so much. There are so many kids that are lost and not getting a smile or someone that cares from home. It is sad.

It is funny though how things do come full circle. I feel like a child a lot these days... needing a hug.

Such a beautiful expression of love. Your sensitivity to your own needs and the needs of others is incredible. Who can resist your open arms?

Oh sweet friend ... we are such kindred spirits on this path of life. It never ceases to amaze me at how God connects people at their hearts.

Motherhood ... such a beautiful season of life even with the peaks and valleys that we experience as our children grow up. It is a never ending role, because they will always need and God willing love their Moms, but it changes so much once they are grown and even more after they marry.

Now, I am blessed to have their babies to love and also God has blessed me with new friends... such as you.

Also, I wanted to tell you that I read somewhere in one of your blogs that you are Portuguese ... and again I was in awe because I, too am Portuguese... my Dad came to the US as a 3 year old from St. Michael and my mother's parents also immigrated from the Azores.

No, they are not, and this is something that I believe we have all learned in the last year. This is pure beauty.

You are such a loving and giving person Darlene. I wish my thoughts were half so loving and generous! Well, we are working on that, God and I. I should say He is working on me.

Dearest Darlene

So, so very beautiful and profound. Loved seeing your handwrting and your beautiful journal.

I am lucky, being an 'older mother', I still have my arms full of my children - for the moment. Even at six and seven they're growing too fast.....

Thank you for your beautiful words. Thank you so much.
