Again, I just caught my breath and held it for a bit. These are breathtaking, Darlene! I can tell you how much I admire them. I'm thinking that they need to be done on a fabric postcard! Or beaded. Is that allowed. These are just be-u-ooooo-ti-ful!

You knock my socks off...every time I think you've outdone yourself, you come up with something more fancinating and breathtaking.

I do love how the black and white show all of the detail and lets you see where the light shines through.

hmmm... I think there is something to that. ;)

Beautiful Pics!

There just isn't anything to compare to b/w. Color shows the outside, but b/w shows the depth.

Thank you so much for your blog. I came here because of the accident to offer prayers and support, but then I was captured by your amazing honesty and grace under pressure...and for the way you could be honesty when your grace fell to pieces for a moment. Your pictures and words...well, for a girl working in an office with windows that won't open, missing her front porch and kids all day, the bees and flowers and gentle words just lift me up. Thank you for sharing!

I stumbled accross your blog today, and it was obviously meant to be. The day hadn't started off well, and was going downhill from there. The baby wouldn't stop crying. And then as I started to read your story, and Mark's, the tears flowed and the realisation came to me. I have my life. I have my babies, my health. Ok, she cries a lot, but she also breathes life and is healthy, as am I. I would like to thank you for sharing your story, and inspiring me to be more grateful for the things that we take for granted all too often. I hope Mark is doing well. And I pray that even with the pain of the lupus, you will continue to share your life through your blog, as I guarantee you have touched many more hearts than you ever will know.
xx Natalie Wolfe - hugs to you all the way from Australia!

Everytime I view your art I feel like I'm getting away with something. Like I got into the art museum for free!

Thank you for sharing your talents. Your photos are beautiful!

P.S. So glad Mark is continuing his recovery and doing well.
