Pillow Talk
Purpose: when you aim for an Intention; Resolution; Determination; to propose as an aim to Oneself. (Webster)
when i was a child, my purpose was to be kind and polite. loving came naturally and i trusted without trying.
when i was a teen, my purpose was to be kind and obey. kindness and love still came naturally, but i learned not to trust everyone.
when i was an adult, my purpose was to be kind, love, forgive, trust and show acts of mercy and grace to all, even to those that i did not trust.
now i am older, my purpose is to be kind, love and always be forgiving, trust with showing acts of mercy and grace to all and believe that my life has a purpose, even when i do not know what it is.
i anticipate what i will learn tomorrow, but for now, i will purposely live today.
Purpose: Intentionally being kind; Resolving to forgive; Determined to believe.

they uplift and make me thoughtful.

Wonderful statement of purpose! Much love to you, Deb
This blog really struck a note for me as I am a certified Life Purpose coach. I think that many women over the age of 40 have lost their passion... they feel that they have no greater purpose, but I don't agree.
We all have a purpose and were all uniquely created by our wonderful Father. Our greatest purpose is to honor Him in all that we do...
I think that you are doing it splendidly my dear Darlene.
Beautiful thoughts.
And I love that picture of you. ;)
:)
I love reading your blog, because it is always something I can take away with me and mull over and over. Love that!
What wonderful, affirmative words for all of us. If only the world would adopt them :)
I love your new haircut...you look mah-ve-lous!
I love your pictures. The camera is good to you.
It's rare when I like a picture of myself. I just don't see myself in most pictures.
Thanks for the inspiring thoughts.
And your poetry. It gives me a new way of looking at things.
Darlene, you are all those lovely things you shared. Loving, forgiving, trusting, and the picture too cute for words.
XOXO
