Halo

I have had the most difficult time {emotionally} commenting on other blog sites this past month. I have had many days when I can't even hold up my own head. My computer has sat beside me on a table and I have read what is going on in your lives, stared at your beautiful pictures and have even read the comments that other people have left you, but I can do all of this with one hand and often find myself with my eyes closed. On the days that I have felt better, I catch up on emails, jewelry or writing and this seems to happen less and less.

For so long I have felt surrounded by the light of love that has been created around me through this medium. I feel blessed, lucky and like I really 'know' most of you, but recently I have noticed something...I miss saying words to you, or rather, writing words. It is not enough to just read. It would be like 2 people trying to have a conversation, but only one person does the talking. Not only that, but the other person doesn't even make a peep, there are no "U-huh's" at the end of your sentences. Not very exciting... and I've realized that I need to speak to you just as much as your posts have spoken to me.

Dearest Darlene,

Not sure if I can conjure up any words of wisdom..... no great surprise there ;-).

At the moment, it is enough for all of us who love you to come and visit and read, and keep in contact. It is the honour of walking with a friend, and just being there.

Read when you can, post when you can, but do not push yourself.

Have loved the glorious pictures that you post. Truly, you are one talented woman. You have inspired me to try beading and jewellry making again, and I am having SUCH a blast with it!

Thank you for being here. You brighten our days (and our loungeroom dressers, where jewellry now abounds in your honour!)

Sending you much love

Annie

What Claire said. I think absolutely everyone understands why you've been quiet on other blogs lately. I'm surprised you've even managed to find the time and energy to read any of them. But I get what you're saying - even when you're reading, if you don't have time or energy to leave comments at least now and then...to turn it into a dialog...you can start to feel disconnected. It happens to me too when I get so busy that I just skim through blogs quickly via bloglines rather than actually going to the sites and commenting. So I understand and sympathize and hope you find the energy you need to do what you want to do, about blogging and everything else in your life. ((((Darlene)))

My dearest Darlene: What a blessed person I am to be your friend (in the same town). I not only get to read and comment, but I get to see your lovely face in person. You are a treasure in my treasure box.
Hugs and kisses forever.

We are here for you when you are ready to speak to us and in the mean time you accept the gift of our friendship as it is given in love.
I've been so busy here that I've had little or no time to post anything myself but I do always try to read your blogs.
Prayer, lose yourself in it and we'll be here when you come out on the other side with a fresh outlook on life and are ready to speak to us.

Your loved,
Sheila

I have to admit I do miss your comments on my blog, you were my daily dose of inspiration. But dear one, you have been going through a lot and I know that you are here in spirit. Besides I love your adoring emails!! And not to mention those beautiful jewels I buy from you, I can just feel your presence each time I wear a necklace!

Love You!!

Several people have already commented on what I feel. Just blog when you feel like it. You have been through so much and it is so understandable what you are going through now. I just wish you could go through processing and integrating all that has gone on without physical pain. Emotional pain is bad enough.

you take care now...and talk when you can...

and keep making that jewelry. It makes the world a prettier place visually...

When the load is heavy, I get to carry it by myself for awhile. When it gets easier, I know you'll be there too. When you can do more, you will. Until then let us carry for you,. . . please!

Just knowing you're checking in on me is enough. I'm not worried about how many comments or how long. I know the people that are stopping by and I'm glad for it.

I've had woefully little to write on my own blog of late, so hopefully I'll find something of worth (and some time to say it) in the near future.

In the meantime, know that I am willing to keep up both ends of the conversation until you feel like taking up your side again. Friends are like that.

Sometimes silence between friends is okay. I know you're there and that you'll be around as you can. In the meantime it's important to honor your energy level and let yourself be supported. I'm more interested in how you are, what you're doing to take care of yourself now. In the meantime, I'm sending you a hug.

I know how you feel my dear ... my refuge is not in beads/jewelry, but in movies and endless design shows and sometimes reading a book. I have spouts of significant productivity - but alas, they all benefit my work life.

Love your jewelry sweetie. xo, JP

It's so true! I sometimes have time to read but not post. I feel it missing when I don't post and let my blogger friends know that I'm there for them and I'm reading. But you know what? We all understand. You've had sooooo much on your plate these days.

Sending love -

Don't beat yourself up too much over this....everyone understands why you haven't been commenting! Do it when you can or when you feel good....it is always great hearing from you but no one holds it against you when we don't see you for awhile.

When you feel good, there are usually more important things to get done than writing to us!! :)

Hi Darlene,
Yesterday I began my blog...with the help and creative design of your beautiful sister I have officially entered bloggie world. Your story, your eloquent words, your truth and this amazing community I witnessed from a far have been my inspiration and my call to step out and share my world in the same way. I feel intimidated yet excited....
I check in with you daily and many of your blog friends as well. I send light, healing energy and many prayers. It has been an honor and blessing to witness such a gracious community. THank you for your truth and inspiration.

I appreciate your recognition of this loss in your life. Rest assured it has not been a negative thing for me. I am content knowing that you are doing the things you need to do to mend.

The fact that you are able to write things here are valuable and I know that you are taking care of business. The business of getting back to a less painful place.

So focus your energies on healing and take as much energy as you need from me and the others that send it to you from cyberspace. We love you and your family and wish you the best.

When the time is right you will be able to send us enough information that we will be tempted to say stop already! tee hee

Heal, please.

Taking care of yourself should always come first. If commenting is helpful, then go ahead, but don't add that stress to your life. We understand.

Darlene, I have parallel times, so I understand those bad days, when it takes every bit of effort just to visit and read blogs. Commenting would be a luxury! Praying for us to find spring sunshine in the days ahead!

I miss your words, Darlene. You are always so kind and wise. But I thought you have just had an awful lot on your plate, so when you were ready you would come back and tell me your thoughts.

I still think of you often. Just get better and take care!

:)
