BEEautiful BUZZZZy
2 day's ago the sun was shining and you could smell the sweetness of all the blossoms blooming in the air. At my house, you could also hear the buzzing of the bees, so I snapped a "few" pictures of these busy workers and that is just what it looked like they were doing...work. Notice how weighted down their legs are with pollen, yet they flew from one flower to the next with such speed. I thought I would share them with you. Don't forget to set your clocks forward this weekend!
(Oh...and as you slowly enlarge each photo by clicking on it, hum a little song to yourself. That's what I did when I showed them to my hubs and what I would do if my children were still here at home. Or, you could narrate like a nature channel special.) I know......the nerd in me is oozing in those last 2 sentences ;-)

Oh, I've been seeing the most gorgeous spring pictures from you lucky gals on the west coast. PLEASE send spring our way!
Those bees must have been doing their weight training over winter to be carrying those huge pollen sacs around ;-)
Thanks for sharing your own beauty and the beauty that surrounds you.
Looks like you've been buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy as a bee taking pics! I can't wait to seeeeeeee these scenes! LOL It's snowing again today and all the ground is covered in a blanket of white! Makes me want to snoooozzzzzzzzzzze! Have a SWEET day California girly! xoxox, xoxoxo, Cinda

BEEautiful photo's!!
I wish spring was here already. She should be on her way, but today all we had was rain and a bit of sun which created a wonderful rainbow in the grey sky!
Loving you XOXO
So beautiful Darlene. Take a peek at the same blossom I posted today. When they fall, it will be like a pale pink snowfall.
Great photos. Renewal is all around us.
Oh Darlene. Please just keep oozing out those wonderful pictures. You just captured nature at its best! It so good to see such a happy fun post in the midst of your healing! There is something healing about those photo's. How God's little creatures speak to us.
Love you!
OMG Darlene these pictures are amazingly beautiful. Might I borrow a couple to do a spread in my granddaughters book of ABC's. She's just 1 but I want to work on one now so it is amazing for her when she is ready.
I'm so happy to see your creative side sneaking in here.
Much love to you my dear friend,
Sheila
beautiful!
Great photography!! Oh how I long to see blossoms! I can hardly wait. Thank you for sharing yours my dear! I am a bit jealous :)
Sending my Love!

Oh, how beautiful these pics are! As we go through another winter day here with temps in the 20's and a blanket of snow that again covered the grass & trees. No school today for the kids. Nope, they don't take chances here in Maryland. Wishing I was on the west coast with you Darlene. I need some hot sunshine and green anything! Can't wait!
Dearest Darlene
Oh WOW!!! Those pictures are fantastic!! I loved the one where the wings are captured in motion! Man, I wish I had your camera!!!!!
We have been having weird late summer/early autumn storms in the land of Oz, and the most bizzarre cloud displays. I have tried to capture them, but am limited at the moment to a good, but very basic camera.
Thank you so much for sharing these. Can't wait until Matthew and Gracie get home and see these! Bees are one of their very "favouritist" (Gracies word) things, despite Disney's efforts to make them the baddies in Winnie the Pooh 8-)
I'm going back to look at the pictures again!
Your such a clever angel. Amazing photos. Thanks
truly lovely - I imagine you had fun capturing each of these images and soaking up the fragrances and sounds of the experience :)
These photos are amazing, just amazing!!
XOXO
what kind of camera do you use for such amazing and clear closeups like that?
Absolutely beautiful pictures.
You are in my thoughts often....
Take care...
Angela
i am typically really frightened of bees but they look so regal and beautiful here.

Hi Darlene
I have just found your blog today, and WOW, I have spend the last 3 hours reading and crying. What an amazing mother you are, and what a journey it has been for Mark and your family.
God bless all of you.

so nice to see, when we're freeeeezing here in the northeast.
and the buzzzzzing certainly does enhance the experience!
Darlene,
Just catching up with you after being away for 10 days. Hope you are feeling better. The buzzy blossoms are just what I need tonight.
One week a go by daughter gave birth to a beautiful boy, and 2 days later, as she waited to leave the hospital, she had a massive heart attack and had to be medflighted to Boston where she was on life support for 4 days. She is slowly recovering and I am trying to come back to center but it is not easy. I kept thinking of you as I sat vigil at Sara's bedside this week. The baby is in good hands with my son and wife and we hope Sara will be home next week. Life is a challenge a minute.
Whew....just glanced at your other posts...beautiful jewelry and I, too sort beads and design when I am stressed. Time to get hem out again.
Thank you for sharing such beauty through all your challenges. They inspired me this week as I grasped for my own breath and peace.

PS...the baby is a GIRL...not sure where that typo came from!! LOL

Oh, these are really nice!

Oh my goodness! Those are such amazing photos. LOVE this post.
Those photos make me long for spring even more than I already do!
Lovely! They are such interesting little creatures!
What beautiful pictures, Darlene! Thanks for posting them! Bees are very busy indeed- I wish I had their stamina!
xoxo
lovely.
i've been feeling such kinship with bees since it became my nickname...they're such symbolic creatures (i've used that word lots today - seeing metaphor in everything.)
i miss california. i miss you. love to you today, and thank you for that whiff of spring optimism.
