The Storm that's Over Before it's Done

Clouds shaped
with perfection
by hands familiar
with their
texture and feel.

The storm
approaches
and nature
awaits the rain,
anticipation,
longing and
excitement.

Both hail
and rain fall
from the sky
and the Earth
feels it's blessing.

And once again
we are
reminded
that His

promises
are true.

And when
the rain is done,
the flowers,
wet and in
thanksgiving,
give
Glory.

That is a good reminder as I sit here in Omaha praying for the storm to pass so we can fly out tomorrow as planned! I will wait to see the goodness of the Lord!
