San Francisco ~*~ The City

Between bloggers momentary tizzy fit and being gone for 1 1/2 days, I feel like I've been away forever. I am exhausted, but enjoyed the company of my daughter and the sights and sounds of the big city were, to say the least, loud, crazy and full of energy. I took at least 100 pictures (to the embarrassment of Angela) and had to come home early. My body just couldn't last, but it was so wonderful, just the same.
I look forward to visiting all of you, answering email and basking in the company of all of you. I intend on spending my entire day resting up, with my laptop before me and crossing all my fingers that blogger intends on cooperating with me. I am so NOT a big city girl...it feels good to be back in the quiet of my small valley home with the company of family and bloggie lovins :)

I am so happy for you sweets.
SO HAPPY.
Wowsers.... what a wonderful set of photos you have there to share.
You are so talented in so many ways Dar... but mostly its your genuine *love* that inspires me... and graps me by the heart everytime.
Aside that... I also relate totally to such a devoted love for a daughter.
I am sure you and Angela had a remarkable time... and another (LOTS) precious memory to add to the many.
Have a great relaxing rest up... I am sure Jay is taking great care of you (whoohoo for Jay :-))
((hugs)), peace and love

I am so glad that you had this time with Ange!! Memories!!

Beautiful pictures! I can't wait to see the rest of them!

I am a country mouse and like my wide open spaces. But, to be honest, I have never lived in the city or where it is so busy. This is all I know, maybe.... I would like it. ???

Glad that you are home though.

Great pictures! SF is on my list of cities to visit soon, and this totally inspires me! I'm the same way - visiting large cities is a great shot of creative adrenyline (which, unfortunately, does not extend to spelling accuracy!) but then I can't wait to get home and have some down time to process it all.

Welcome home - feel better!

My favorite British comedian, Eddie Izzard, was showing in San Francisco and he was teasing all the locals about how we call San Fran..."The City". I never realized this until he mentioned it and now I smile every time I hear or see it...like now on your subject title.

Oh how I love my SF. I miss being able to hop over the bridge from Berkeley in just a few minutes. I love the culture, sounds, smells, feel, ambiance of it all.

I am so glad you had a wonderful time with Angie baby. I am excited that she decided to live there. What adventures she'll have! We hope to visit her flat during the holidays, if time allows.

I must admit...I am a city girl. I couldn't live more than 30 minutes from ocean and city or I'd go mad.

Hope you rest really easy and are tender with yourself over the next few days, sissy!

I love you a bunch.

xoxo

I went to San Francisco with the most physically beautiful woman I've ever had the privilege to keep company with. She was nice, too. At the end of our trip, I knew we were not going to be together forever, or even for long. The details aren't important, but I'll never think of San Francisco the same way.

Lovely to see you back and those photos are great. The last one's my favourite.
It's absolutely not possible to take too many photos.
Looking forward to hearing all about it.
