Sunday Scribblings ~ Morning

Daughter of Eve, a light from the east draws you to wake,
but you are still deep in mystical dreaming.
You're immersion is a barrier to early external stirrings
and you continue being a visionary.
In this oblivion, you feel no pain, no worries
and regrets are too distant to recall.
Rise up Daughter, the day calls you
and the numbing spell has run its course.
Slumbers fog begins to lift and with it gone,
I wake into my portion.
I alone select my posture,
this freedom allows a moment for choice.
As a Daughter, I will rise
and gladly face each morning.

I read words such as these and wonder how someone can speak the words of their heart so eloquently. *sigh*

These words just echo in my soul...even though it's late at night! I will save them to re-read in the morning, when I've awakened from my "mystical dreaming."

Beautiful :)
