"Birds That Ask Questions"

Do you ever wonder what you're really here for?
You look around and try to make eye contact
with other people...

...and they just look right back
and stare right through you?

So life just keeps ticking away
no matter where you're sitting.

Do you think anybody up there
knows I'm even here?

What is the purpose
of my life?

Strength, hope, faith, love and courage,
I believe I have all these things?

Is it wrong for me
to question my destiny?

I just want to do the right thing.
I don't want to be selfish.
I want to make a difference
in the lives of others.

I just want to be myself
and believe in You
at the same time.

Ok, I'm tired of crying!! You speak the words of my heart. I want a book by you too! I already told literary girl that I was printing out the one with the shoe pictures and putting it up somewhere, now I need this one too!I am a Kindred Spirit, I would love to just sit at your feet and let you fill me up with words of inspiration, conviction, contemplation, and love.
Again, all I can say is, THANK YOU!
Love, Michelle

While each of our paths vary, we are here to make a difference. I believe the most important difference that we can make is the impact that we have on other people's lives. We impact our families, we impact our friends, we impact people who we do not know and probably will never see again, just by smiling and saying hello. There are those who do indeed look straight through us, but I believe that for every one of those people, there are five others who we have positively impacted.

You, sweet Darlene, impact us all in such a beautiful manner.

Love to you xoxoxox

Do you know that in Britain 'bird' is used the same as 'chick', i.e. a hot young woman? Is it the same over your side of the water? You're one hell of a bird who asks questions! ;-)

(*remember* NOT a slapper!)

love to you!

p.s. love your little birdie pics

Is it wrong to question my destiny? ...oh Dar, I think it's wrong not to question one's destiny! Wasn't it Socrates who said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Beautiful pics and words. much peace & love, d

If you ask me,that's what everyone should want. Not that anyone asked me, but still...that's what I think. :-) Beautiful post, Darlene.

I am in tears over this beautiful post Darlene. Your words really spoke to me. And having them next to those beautiful photo's of the birds touched my heart too.

You are a deep, compassionate, loving woman and I know you make a lot of difference to people every day. Near and far.
